Good Practice Guide on Noise Exposure and Potential Health Effects

Under the umbrella of the European Environment Agency, the EU Expert Panel on Noise has produced a Good Practice Guide on Noise Exposure and Potential Health Effects. In addition to other recent publications like the WHO environmental burden of health report, the current publication is intended particularly to assist policy makers and competent authorities in understanding and fulfilling the action planning requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC. The Guide was drafted by renowned experts in the field, and in that respect referring to it may be helpful to those who want to put an end to the discussion whether or not noise is a health issue at all.
