Heathrow delay shows Government is losing expansion argument, says Hounslow Council

The Government’s delay in announcing a decision on Heathrow expansion is an admission it has lost the argument, Hounslow Council has claimed.
Transport Secretary Geoff Hoon had been expected to make an announcement on expansion plans this week, but has delayed the decision until the end of January amid growing concerns the Government cannot meet its own targets on air pollution.
