School axes playtime after complaints about noise!

A school has banned playtime - after complaints about the noise.

The killjoy move was imposed after just THREE neighbours contacted environmental chiefs.

They claim the sound of kids enjoying themselves on their break is "excessive". The row has stunned officials of 100-year-old Barlby community primary school in Selby, North Yorks.

Governors have already erected a soundproof fence, banned ball games for its 350 pupils - and hired a noise consultant.
